Year 6: End of Half Term

Home » News » Year 6: End of Half Term

Wow Year 6 — what a lot we have packed into this half term — PGL, Carding Mill, NSPCC workshops, being a buddy, getting started on our responsibility roles, not to mention all the English, Maths, Science and study work!
On Tuesday we went to church to introduce and support our reception buddies in their new starter service and then today we started them off with their messy church harvest activities before their mums and dads came in. Your have been fantastic buddies this term and I know your buddies are enjoying your company and support.
In Maths this week we have consolidated our multiplication methods and moved onto division. Mrs Casserley has been working with us to complete some art work, the watercolours of Carding Mill are beautiful. We have looked further into the story of rivers, this week concentrating on floods, the risks and the benefits.
Have a lovely half term — you deserve it!
Remember when we come back, Monday and Tuesday, are Bikeability days.
Mrs Chesters
