It has been lovely so many of you have been able to join us at our Harvest services and activities this year.

Messy church — In Reception we hosted Messy Church for our families and enjoyed sharing in the harvest from our orchard.

"I give you every seed bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be your for food." Genisis 1:29-30

With this quote, linked to our Christian value of thankfulness, we created harvest cards by printing with apples, harvest crowns with fallen leaves from the apple trees, stained glass window leaves and most importantly we made apple crumble for our families. In our prayers we thought about all the things we are thankful for. We hope you all enjoyed our singing of 'Big Red Combine Harvester and we thank you all for joining us.

Y1 Y2 Y3 Harvest service - We enjoyed sharing the story of Stone Soup with you all on Thursday. The African story tells of villagers who all work together to share a little of what they have to create a wonderful soup, focusing on value and importance of sharing and working together. The children spoke so clearly, loudly and with expression. We loved the acting and singing too! We hope you enjoyed listening to our service as much as we enjoyed sharing it with you.

Y4 Y5 Y6 Harvest service- In our KS2 worship we gave thanks for all the wonderful things that God provides us with at Harvest time. We feel that sharing the wonders from God's garden is important and we should celebrate all the good things that the earth provides for us.

In God's garden we should plant and sow many things. So, let us share with you some of the things we think should be planted and harvested all year round:

Plant Four Rows of Peas
1. Peace within ourselves
2. Peace with each other
3. Peace in our school
4. Peace in our world

Plant Four Rows of Squash
1. Squash unkindness
2. Squash rudeness
3. Squash unhelpfulness
4. Squash selfishness

Plant Four Rows of Lettuce
1. Lettuce be hardworking
2. Lettuce be kind
3. Lettuce be patient
4. Lettuce show our care for one another

Plant Four Rows of Turnips
1. Turn up when you're needed
2. Turn up to lend a hand
3. Turn up to help one another
4. Turn up and make a difference

Plant Four Rows of Thyme
1. Thyme for ourselves
2. Thyme for each other
3. Thyme for family
4. Thyme for friends

Let us all be farmers who harvest all God's fruits. The real fruits and the Fruits of the Spirit.

Thank you to everyone who came to share our Harvest worship with us and a special thank you to all the parents who helped us walk down to Church.

Thank you for all the generous donations to Nantwich Food bank — your donations do make a difference to local families. The collection at our services has been given to Chance Changing Lives a local charity supporting the homeless in our local communities. THANK YOU for your generosity.
